I have several interests to share through this blog including my love of needlework, quilting, cooking, and my pets, Molly and Butterscotch. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with adding to most of these areas over time. I hope you enjoy it.

Some Quilt Finishes from 2018

I pieced the blocks for this first quilt in 2001.  It was a project from the Thimblesberries club from that year.  I was working on finishing some other quilts and came across these blocks.  I can't believe it took me this long to put this one together.  It is now all bound and ready to be used.

...and look who was the first one to use it.

This quilt was a block of the week from 2017.  I found a quilt on Facebook that Rebecca had quilted from the same quilt designer and fell in love with her work.  She did a fabulous job quilting this one.

...so I sent her another one.  This one only measures 30" X 30" but has so much impact with her quilting.  This one is ready for binding however I lost my binding fabric.  I found the same fabric I needed to finish this online am waiting for it to shipped.

Next time I'll show a sampler finish from 2019 and some wool applique projects in progress.
