I have several interests to share through this blog including my love of needlework, quilting, cooking, and my pets, Molly and Butterscotch. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with adding to most of these areas over time. I hope you enjoy it.

Yet Another Post

I guess I’m on a roll.  Blogger seems to be behaving with picture posting so all is well with blogging right now. I feel like I need to get blogging again since Amy Wilson of the Thread in Hand blog stopped suddenly in early November.  I feel a sense of loss without seeing her beautiful stitching, and hope she is doing well.  I love seeing everyone’s beautiful WIP’s and finishes on Facebook, blogs and  FlossTube.  I don’t know about you, but it keeps me motivated.

I finished “Rosehips and Ivy” from the Ladies Prim Society.  It will be finished as a drum.

I decided to get started on another drum from Blackbird Designs from the retreat at Stitchville USA in 2017.  The finished model is pictured in my post from December 25th.  Here is my progress.

Molly also wanted to make sure to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Best Stitches,

  1. I too, miss Amy's blog.
I looked forward to it everyday, she had some fantastic projects.
Rosehips and Ivy is so pretty, and will make a beautiful drum.
    Molly is too cute. :)

  2. Congratulations on getting "Rosehips and Ivy" finished! It is a beautiful piece.

  3. Beautiful work. Would you be interested in selling the Rose Hips and Ivy pattern? Thanks for your consideration. Sheila
