Welcome

I have several interests to share through this blog including my love of needlework, quilting, cooking, and my pets, Molly and Butterscotch. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with adding to most of these areas over time. I hope you enjoy it.

Projects to Be Finished and WIP's

I think I need another finishing vacation to get myself jump started again.  I think I am also having some project ADD.  A nice staycation would be helpful.  I am so jealous of my friends that are retiring.  I have a few more years before that is a reality for me, but time is going by so fast I know it will be here before I know it.

Here is my list...

I have my Summer Block of the Week Wool Applique on Cotton quilt that is calling to me from Primitive Gatherings.  Notice is is front and center on my cutting table.  Most of the strips are starched for the center portion and the pieced borders.

I have "My Stitcher's Heart" from Hands on Designs to finish.  I got the stitching finished very quickly, but other things got in the way of the actual finishing...

Then there's Betsy Morgan's Toy Chest and Bristol Bag, and more pin cushions (you can't have too many!) to finish.

Plus I'm working on the stitching for Lauren Sauer's "Book of Berries" (pages 1 to 16 plus the pocket are all stitched) with the cover yet to stitch - it's on my Checklist.

...one of my favorite pages of the book.  I LOVE Queen Stitches!

Then the Ladies Prim Society kit came in the mail and I was off stitching that.  I'm almost done and will send it off to Faye after the holiday for finishing.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.  Here are some pictures of my Christmas tree this year that I decorated with hand made ornaments from friends and myself.

Have a very Happy New Year!!

Best Stitches,
Sue
