Well, I was up until 1 AM completing the final stitches, adding the charms and pressing Shepherd's Bush "Finch Song".
I also finished a little autumn sample designed by Jeanette Douglas (also one of the instructors at the retreat), that was kitted up and sold at the retreat shop. I love the puples, greens and oranges in this sampler - makes me wish that winter was over and we were on to warmer weather.

Yesterday I got caught up finishing 5 Shepherd's Bush Needle Rolls that I had stitched awhile back. I fired up the sewing machine and off I went. I have completed 7 of these and just love how they finish up. The directions are easy to follow and they are all so darling.
From Left to Right - Violet Needle Roll, Garden Roll, In My Garden Roll, Beehive Roll, and Shepherd's Roll
Yesterday, I ended up at Hobby Lobby to get fiberfill to complete the needle rolls. While I was there, I found a couple of pairs of scissors that coordinated well with the before pictured scissor fobs. I decided they looked best displayed in this cherry shaker sewing tray that I bought at the Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, KY. Don't they look perfect in there?
The is a Chatelaine from The Drawn Thread desings. I took this class in 1996 from Cynthia Zittel of The Dranw Thread desings. It is one of my treasured pieces and wanted to make sure that I shared it with you.

Okay - so it has been awhile since my first post and I have not added any photos of my projects. It has been a busy few months with the holidays as well as my Mom being sick and in the hospital again. I have been busy stitching on projects from the Shepherd's Bush retreat that I attended in September and other projects that I had started before then. I have also been finishing some projects that I had stitched a long time ago including several scissor fobs from Shepherd's Bush. Enjoy and hope to be back again soon!!
"Wicked" by the Primitive Needle - freebie I received at the retreat. This will be stitched as a pin cushion.
